Christopher Hunt

Alberta-born in High River and raised on a farm near DeWinton, Christopher has spent 4 decades as a Calgary-based professional actor. His extensive stage credits include over 40 productions with Theatre Calgary and 30 with Alberta Theatre Projects. He’s won nine Betty Mitchell Awards for his acting, the 2018 Harry & Martha Cohen Award, and the King Charles III Coronation Medal for his contributions to Calgary theatre.
Jamie Dunsdon

Jamie is a born-and-bred farm girl, and is absolutely honoured to be returning to her rural roots with RIBSTONE. Currently based in Calgary, Jamie is the Artistic Producer of Calgary Young People’s Theatre, and is the founder / former Artistic Director of Verb Theatre. Selected credits include: Bliss: The Birthday Party Play (Verb Theatre and The High Performance Rodeo); Romeo and Juliet, The Inner Workings of a Concert Flute, Much Ado About Nothing, The Wolves, Unity 1918 (Calgary Young People’s Theatre); The Woman In Black, Misery, Deathtrap (Vertigo Theatre); Admissions (Theatre Calgary); A More Sparkling Version of Ourselves, Lungs, Blackbird, Sextet (Verb Theatre) and The Tempest (The Shakespeare Company). Hanne Loosen

Hanne is a set and costume designer living and working in Calgary. In 2021 she created a visual installation piece called “For Design’s Sake”. Chris Hunt’s first words for RIBSTONE were written on this installation piece during an Experiment Lab with the support of Vertigo Theatre and Verb Theatre. In Calgary, she was worked with Theatre Calgary, Alberta Theatre Projects, Lunchbox Theatre, The Shakespeare Company, Calgary Opera, Verb Theatre, Ghost River Theatre and others. Telly James

Telly James is a proud member of the Siksika Nation. He’s also been a member of the Calgary arts community as an actor, writer, director since 2007. He’s happy to be working with “Uncle Chris” and this group of amazing individuals. His theatre work includes Making Treaty 7, The Ecstasy of Rita Joe, and roles with companies across Canada, as well as television appearances in Blackstone and Young Drunk Punk.
Tim Williams

Tim Williams was an American-born, long-time Canadian blues and roots artist whose career spanned more than five decades. He began as a teenager in Southern California coffee houses, recording his first LP for Epic Records in 1968 alongside blues legends Pee Wee Crayton and George “Harmonica” Smith. Moving to Canada in the early 1970s, Williams became a sought-after multi-instrumentalist, drawing from folk, blues, country, Hawaiian, and Mexican traditions. He built a devoted following opening for artists such as Taj Mahal and Albert Collins, later stepping away to ranch before returning to acclaim at the 1988 Edmonton Folk Festival. A double-winner at the 2014 International Blues Challenge, JUNO-nominated producer, prolific session musician, teacher, mentor and theatre artist (winning five Betty Mitchell awards), Williams leaves behind a deep and lasting legacy in Canadian roots music
Leo Wieser

Leo Wieser is a multidisciplinary designer, special effects supervisor, and creative technologist working across theatre, film, television, animatronics, and immersive environments. He is the founder and former CEO of the award-winning company Bleeding Art Industries Inc., internationally recognized for its innovative approach to special effects, animatronics, pyrotechnics, and design. Leo has toured theatrical productions throughout North America and Europe, led complex projects worldwide, and recently served as Animatronics Lead for the Jim Henson Creature Shop on Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock. In 2025, he won the Children’s & Family Emmy Award for Outstanding Costume Design/Styling for that series. A respected mentor and educator, Leo bridges art, engineering, and business with rare depth and imagination.
